Global Research Intensive University Network Annual Meeting
The Global Research Intensive University Network annual meeting was held at Customs House, Brisbane in November 2017.
The meeting explored two key themes: The Changing Face of Trust, and Advocating for “Slow” Research in a Fast Paced World.
Attendees were comprised of members of the Global Research University Network, a collective of world-leading research-intensive universities and includes the Go8 (Australia), The Association of American Universities (AAU), The Association of East Asian Research Universities (AEARU), The League of European Research Universities (LERU), the Research Universities Eleven (RU11, Japan), the Russell Group of Universities (UK), the Universities Fifteen (U15, Canada) and the Universities Fifteen (U15, Germany). Key representatives of Embassies and High Commissions located in Australia will also be invited, as will senior staff from the Go8 universities and Australian government departments.
