Labor is clamouring for the government to extend the JobKeeper program to Universities after it was revealed on Friday that it will cost the government $60 billion less than expected due to an accounting error.
It comes as four private universities, Notre Dame, Bond, Torrens and the University of Divinity, received a reprieve from the government’s turnover test which rendered most institutions ineligible for JobKeeper.
All four will now be able to claim the payment.
