You might get the impression from looking at the share market that Australia’s economic recovery is well underway.
From its March lows, the market as a whole is now up roughly 20 per cent, and believe it or not, over a hundred academics from a range of fields actually support the idea that a glimmer of light is beginning to emerge in what is a very dark coronavirus tunnel.
Equally though, there’s a strong warning from several universities, and the Government, that if we emerge too quickly from our bunkers at home, we risk completely derailing all we have achieved so far.
